MPOWER POD

Small and light

Easy to attach on any muscle with a strap or adhesive. Just wear it and get going!

Unique and accurate technology

Measures electrical signals your muscles produce during training. Mpower is based on state-of-the-art sEMG signal analysis, which gives accurate information about muscle activation. Furthermore, the technology enables the measurement of fast and slow muscle fibers and detection of fatigue.

MPOWER TECH

How does Mpower measure muscles?

app and pod.

EMG

When muscles are activated, they produce electrical signal called EMG. Mpower uses a technology called surface EMG (sEMG) to measure and analyze muscle behavior during training.

Pod

The Mpower pod is attached to the skin surface over any muscle to measure EMG-signal as the muscle responds to the training exercises. The Mpower pod transmits the measurement data to the Mpower app for further analysis.

App

Based on the data, the Mpower app calculates multiple parameters that help users get the most out of their training.

  • 1

    Activation power

The total of your slow and fast muscle fiber power during a single repetition. This helps you find the right technique to maximize your muscle activation.

  • 2

    Max
    activation power

Maximum momentary muscle activation during a single repetition. This tells you how your maximum activation is developing over time.

  • 3

    Fast
    activation power

Your momentary fast muscle fiber activation power during a single repetition. This helps you ensure you are training the fast muscle fibers. You can also see when your fast muscle fiber activation level starts decreasing, which means that your fast muscle fibers are getting tired. Use this information for successful speed and explosive strength training.

  • 4

    Max fast
    activation power

Your maximum momentary fast muscle fiber activation power during a single repetition. This tells you how your maximum fast fiber activation is developing over time.

  • 5

    Activation volume

Cumulative activation power per muscle. Shows the activation volume during workout and a summary after the workout. You can also monitor the activation volume per exercise type and of all exercises for a specific muscle.

  • 6

    Fast
    activation volume

Cumulative fast activation power per muscle during your workout. Shows the fast activation volume during workout and a summary after the workout. You can also monitor the fast activation volume per exercise type and of all exercises for a specific muscle.

  • 7

    Activation
    distribution

Distribution of activation power between slow and fast muscle fibers. See how much you are using your slow or fast muscle fibers.

  • 8

    Activation
    power balance

Find out and compare the activation power between muscle pair, in other words similar muscles on the left and right side of your body.

  • 9

    Activation
    power ratio

Find out and compare the activation power between two arbitrary muscles.

  • 10

    Fatigue index

See how your muscle fatigue develops. When the fast muscle fiber activation level decreases further, it is an indication of successful endurance strength training.
